I start to get overwhelmed, stressed, and wonder how could we ever afford to pay that? THEN I think about a sweet girl, daughter of a sweet couple I went to high school who has been battling leukemia for the last year and discovered two days ago it relapsed. I can't imagine the stress or overwhelmed feeling her parents must be going through with the difficult decisions they have to make now. Thinking about their situation makes mine seem not as stressful.
So today I will take a step back, create a plan and pay what we can, when we can and go from there. I will pray and pray hard for Claire and her family because at the end of the day their little girl is such a strong little warrior and deserves to be able to grow up and enjoy life like so many other children get to experience.
Please join me today in praying for Claire Parker❤️

I will keep all of you in my prayers. I wanted to let you know that you can call the number on the back of your bills and ask for assistance in paying the hospital bills. I had to do that after Noah was born because we just didn't have enough to pay what we owed. All they need is your family size and income and they can determine how much you will end up having to pay. We only had to pay 40% of the bill we had and they let me make monthly payments until I paid it off so that was a BIG help. Also ask about Access One Medcard, it's a hospital "credit card" that anyone who had to stay in the hospital qualifies for. We have had it since we had Carter because it is the only way we were able to pay off the stays for both of the littles. Not every hospital will allow you to use it, but definitely ask the hospital's billing department about that because it will take a HUGE load off your shoulders if you can get it. They don't run a credit check or anything and it doesn't report to credit either if you are concerned about that. Hope this helps xoxo
